i used adjustment settings, go to image> adjustments> hue/saturation then adjust everything except RGB (reds to magenta)... -30 saturation and +40 brightness. leave the hue untouched. then go to image>adjustments>brightness/contrast then apply 10 brightness 20 contrast.. then go to image>adjustments>curves and move the middle of the curve slightly upwards... if you want you can also use adjustment layers..

wow man, i really appreciate this.
you canīt get this kind of effect on skin just desaturating the image to B/W TOTALLY and then playing with contrast and brightness, neither with layer adjust> black and white; i tryed both but... i mean, you can get very very close, but if you look carefully is not the same effect...
Desaturating color by color and adjusing brightness, contrast and curves, and some blur you can get a more realistic effect...
tnx a lot for your mini tutorial dude, execellent work!

no problem... you can adjust those settings depending on your preference... but that's what I inputed here.... and I also forgot, I used surface blur to have that shiny like effect...

Also the blank expression on her face does this much justice. :eyepopping:

yes,,, the original stock has still some expressions on her eyes, like sadness, so I painted her eyes to make it look more "robotic"... quite happy with the outcome...

I recovered my Deviant password, just so I could tell you how perfect I think this image is. This image...

is perfect.

There.

This is the Metropolis woman of the new millennium. Great work.

Could you share the process you used to achieve this?
